What this job involves

Revenue Recognition at JLL plays a critical role in driving financial strategy and business planning. Their responsibilities include contract approval, Revenue recognition, reporting, and VAT fapiao-related tasks in a timely and accurate manner, while ensuring compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle’s accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Conduct rigorous technical assessment of commercial contracts against JLL's global revenue recognition policies and ASC 606. Evaluate contract terms including performance obligations, transaction price allocation, variable consideration, and revenue timing/measurement across diverse service lines (leasing, advisory, property management, project management). Identify non-standard clauses and complex arrangements that require judgment or policy interpretation, ensuring appropriate revenue treatment and documentation of conclusions. Partner with business teams and legal to clarify ambiguous terms and align contract structures with compliant revenue outcomes.
Provide professional service and value to the stakeholders
Compliance with SLA, Audit, KPI and Strategy requirements
Drive process improvements in financial reporting and analytics.
Stay in professional communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Excellent communication (written & verbal), English(primary)and Japanese
Experience in a large, complex, global public company, corporate finance.
Revenue Recognition and Tax experience will be a plus.
AI Driven, Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas) and PowerPoint.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI).
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
