About The Role

  • Who will you report to? Creative Director
  • When? Monday to Friday, 9.30am until 5.30pm
  • Where? Three days per week from our studio in Old Street
  • Deadline for applications? September 18th

The role

You love working across identities, campaigns, digital experiences and visual narratives, taking ideas from early concepts through to beautifully crafted outcomes.

You enjoy working with designers, writers, strategists and other creative disciplines, whether shaping work from the beginning or jumping into projects at different stages, contributing with ideas, exploring possibilities and finding ways to elevate the work.

You’re ambitious about the work you want to make, and want to keep expanding your experience, experimenting with new approaches and growing your creative practice.

About you

You are a designer with a strong eye for typography, composition, image-making and detail. You care about the thinking behind the work as much as how it looks, and you’re developing a distinctive point of view as a creative professional.

You bring ideas to the table, explore different possibilities and executions, and know when to push beyond the obvious. You’re collaborative, curious and open to different perspectives.

You care about making excellent work and are excited to keep learning, experimenting and growing your craft.

Core skills

  • You have a strong foundation in typography, composition, layout and visual storytelling.
  • You can develop an idea across different formats while maintaining a clear and coherent visual language.
  • You are comfortable taking work from concept through development and into delivery.
  • You can work confidently within an existing brand system while knowing when and how to expand on it.
  • You communicate your ideas clearly and can explain the thinking behind your creative decisions.
  • You take feedback thoughtfully, contribute constructively to critique and know how to move work forward.
  • You have strong attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality of what you make.
  • You are fluent across Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • You stay curious about new tools, technologies and creative practices, and look for opportunities to experiment with them.

Nice to have

  • Motion design
  • Generative AI workflows and emerging technologies
  • Film editing and art direction
  • Emerging technologies

Most importantly, you are curious, ambitious and generous with your ideas. You care deeply about design without being precious about your work. You want to contribute, learn from the people around you and make the work better through both your ideas and your craft.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You do need to have a point of view, an appetite to grow, and the judgement to know when to listen, when to question and when to push.
