This is an opportunity to use advanced analytics to optimize transportation networks and improve supply chain performance at <scale.You> will build and enhance analytical models and tools that help reduce shipping costs, improve delivery speed, and drive measurable business growth.The role combines data analysis, business intelligence, automation, and predictive insights to support both day-to-day decisions and long-term <strategy.You> will own high-impact tools spanning carrier performance, routing, shipping speed, chargebacks, disputes, and transportation cost benchmarking.Working closely with cross-functional and US-based stakeholders, you will translate complex data into clear recommendations and actionable business outcomes.The position is ideal for a self-directed analytical professional who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and turning data into scalable <solutions.As> part of a remote team, you will have significant ownership and the opportunity to directly influence transportation efficiency and financial performance.
Accountabilities
Design, develop, and scale advanced analytics models and tools that optimize transportation cost, delivery speed, and overall network performance.
Own and continuously improve transportation analytics solutions, including carrier performance dashboards, routing and ship-speed optimization tools, chargeback and dispute systems, and cost benchmarking engines.
Develop predictive and real-time reporting capabilities for critical transportation KPIs, including transit time, on-time delivery, freight spend, and network performance.
Analyze transportation and supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities, operational inefficiencies, and performance trends.
Provide timely, actionable decision support to business stakeholders, responding to ad hoc analytical requests within a targeted 24-hour SLA.
Translate ambiguous business questions into clearly defined analytical approaches, identify the required data, perform analysis, and communicate practical recommendations.
Improve data accuracy, reliability, and consistency across supply chain analytics solutions.
Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual processes and create scalable, efficient analytical workflows.
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop high-impact analytics solutions aligned with operational and financial objectives.
Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to US-based leaders and stakeholders, adapting communication to both technical and business audiences.
Support forward-looking transportation performance management through predictive insights, benchmarking, and scenario analysis.
Identify opportunities to improve existing tools, models, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies.
Requirements
4–6+ years of professional analytics experience, ideally within transportation, supply chain, logistics, ecommerce, or operations.
Strong SQL skills, including the ability to independently write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex queries using platforms such as Snowflake, Starburst, or similar technologies.
Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, with the ability to perform sophisticated analysis and build practical business models.
Strong Power BI expertise, including the ability to independently create dashboards, develop DAX measures, and turn complex datasets into intuitive visual reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to take ambiguous business questions, structure the problem, identify relevant data, and produce actionable insights with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to build scalable analytics models and tools rather than relying solely on one-off reporting.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to present analytical findings directly to US-based leaders and business stakeholders.
Experience collaborating effectively with distributed teams and working across time zones, particularly with US-based colleagues.
Strong business judgment and the ability to connect analytical findings to operational, financial, and strategic outcomes.
Highly self-directed, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from initial problem definition through delivery and iteration.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
Experience with carrier rate analysis, freight cost modeling, warehouse operations, or inbound logistics data is an asset.
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and maintaining reliable communication and productivity independently.
Must have a suitable home-office setup, including a computer meeting the required technical specifications, dual monitors, a headset, HD webcam, and a stable wired internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.
