About The Role

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for its client an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Hackney Council’s Adults, Health & Integration Service, working within the OT and Sensory Service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work within a busy Local Authority service, completing person-centred assessments and interventions to promote independence, safety, and wellbeing for adults in the community.

What will your responsibilities be?

Complete comprehensive Occupational Therapy and functional assessments for adults with a range of complex needs

Assess activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, environmental risks and barriers to independence

Recommend and prescribe appropriate equipment, minor adaptations and other solutions to support independent living

Develop practical, person-centred interventions focused on maximising independence and maintaining individuals safely within their own homes

Work collaboratively with service users, carers, Social Workers, health professionals and wider multidisciplinary teams

Contribute to care and support planning, risk management and appropriate onward referrals

Manage a varied caseload effectively, prioritising according to need and risk

Maintain accurate and timely assessments, reports and professional records

Apply strengths-based, person-centred practice and relevant health and social care legislation within everyday OT decision-making

Qualifications & Experience

HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
