Brave Health is stepping up to close this gap by making mental health care accessible, affordable, and life-changing for all.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a 1099 Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to support our growing telehealth team in a supervisory-only capacity. This role focuses exclusively on NP collaboration and supervision—no direct patient care is <required.As> a supervising psychiatrist, you’ll partner with our Nurse Practitioners to provide clinical guidance, case consultation, chart reviews/audits, and input on internal practice standards. You’ll collaborate closely with our Clinical Supervisors to ensure high-quality, consistent care across our virtual behavioral health programs.This position is fully remote, offering flexible, work-from-home hours. Ideal candidates are comfortable practicing in a virtual environment and are energized by the intersection of quality, technology, and access.SkillsWillingness to work in a collaborative team environmentStrong interpersonal skills and a passion for serving those in needAdaptable to technology, including telehealth software, comfortable with video communication and the use of EHR’s.Responsive to texts, phone calls, and emails during business hours.Prior experience in a collaborative role with Nurse PractitionersExperience in Addiction, SMI, SUD, Dual DiagnosisExperience working with children and adolescent psychiatry patientsActive DEA Awareness of and compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2QualificationsMD or DO; must be willing to obtain additional state licenses. Florida, Illinois, and/or New York state licenses highly preferredBoard certified in Psychiatry required; child/adolescent psychiatry board certified a plusExperience with and knowledge of managed care, Medicaid and private payersPrior Supervising/Collaborative Physician Experience with Nurse Practitioners a plusExperience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health TreatmentPrior telehealth experienceEligibility to work in the United States.
