About The Role
What You'll Do
You will execute general ledger accounting processes, including preparing monthly journal entries and conducting balance sheet reconciliations. The role involves serving as a liaison between corporate headquarters and the field, collaborating with cross-functional groups to develop budgets and forecasts, and performing variance analyses. You will also execute key internal controls, assist with audits, and support special projects as needed, which may include accounting research and integration of newly acquired facilities.
Essential Functions
- Execute general ledger accounting processes from end-to-end, including preparation of monthly journal entries.
- Conduct reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts, with a focus on cash reconciliations.
- Serve as liaison between corporate headquarters and geographically distributed assigned sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to develop budgets and forecasts and perform variance analyses.
- Analyze financial data and problem-solve related to assigned areas and accounts.
- Execute key internal controls and support auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
- Assist with special projects such as accounting research and integration of newly acquired facilities.
- Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
What Experience and Education You Need
- 1 year of Accounting experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
- Experience with major ERP systems required.
What Could Set You Apart
- Master's degree in Accounting preferred.
- CPA certification or CPA track preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-volume and changing environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication.

- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

Physical Requirements
- Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.
- Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.
- Requires ability to comprehend and communicate with others, verbally and/or in writing.
- May require travel by automobile and airplane for business.
- May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.
- May require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
