Join Saputo Dairy Australia as an Electrician at our Burnie site.

Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you'll help keep our fast-moving production equipment operating safely and reliably through planned maintenance, breakdown response, problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.

You'll be trusted to manage your own workload, execute a weekly maintenance plan and make sound decisions while supporting our 24/7 operation.

About the role

As an Electrician, you'll support our 24/7 manufacturing operation through

• Planned and preventative maintenance
• Electrical fault-finding and breakdown response
• Structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Continuous improvement initiatives
• SAP administration, including work confirmations and parts management

Working alongside Mechanical Fitters and the wider maintenance team, you'll be responsible for delivering a weekly maintenance plan while supporting equipment reliability and performance.

About the roster

This position supports our 24/7 manufacturing operation and works across a rotating six-week roster.

The roster includes a combination of day, afternoon, night and weekend work, with a mix of both 12-hour and shorter rostered shifts. Shift loading and overtime opportunities apply.

About you

You'll bring

• A current electrical licence
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload
• A commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another industrial manufacturing environment will be highly regarded, along with SAP, automation, instrumentation, refrigeration, mechanical or dual-trade experience.
