Position Highlights

Core Responsibilities

  • Gather patient information to ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively, producing high-quality echocardiographic images.
  • Provide a comfortable, reassuring experience for patients throughout each procedure.
  • Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy, capturing additional views as needed.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
  • Follow established workflow protocols for patient verification, image documentation, and system integrity.
  • Support other team members and clinical areas as needed to ensure seamless care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program.
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time experience as a certified Echo Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Willingness to float between multiple locations within Metro Detroit.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and positioning patients and equipment.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and patient interaction skills.
  • Commitment to accuracy, documentation, and operational workflow compliance.
