Position Highlights
Core Responsibilities
- Gather patient information to ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed.
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively, producing high-quality echocardiographic images.
- Provide a comfortable, reassuring experience for patients throughout each procedure.
- Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy, capturing additional views as needed.
- Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
- Follow established workflow protocols for patient verification, image documentation, and system integrity.
- Support other team members and clinical areas as needed to ensure seamless care delivery.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program.
- Minimum 2 years of full-time experience as a certified Echo Ultrasound Technologist.
- Willingness to float between multiple locations within Metro Detroit.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and positioning patients and equipment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient interaction skills.
- Commitment to accuracy, documentation, and operational workflow compliance.
