Facilities Team Member

PARKVIEW CHRISTIAN CHURCH is looking for a Facilities Team Member to join this exciting and fast-paced organization. Parkview is one church with three campus locations in Orland Park, Homer Glen and New Lenox. This Central Team is seeking a part-time Facilities Team Member to implement a well defined vision and strategy that supports the departments across Parkview Staff.

Curt Bello ne , Facilities Director

REPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
• Gathering and emptying trash
• Setting up rooms and resources for events
• Greeting members during service time or events and point them in the right
• direction
• Flexibility for needs at any of our three campus locations
• General janitorial work

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be available 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm on weekdays, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Saturdays, and 8:00 am - 3:00 pm on Sundays
• Must have a valid driver's license
• High School education or equivalent preferred
• Ability to tolerate both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including dust and cleaning solvents
• Ability to perform heavy work, must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb stairs, reach, kneel, push and pull
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment
• Detail oriented to provide quality work and complete assigned tasks accurately
• Exercise discretion and good judgment in personal contacts
• Interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with management and volunteers
• Demonstrate professionalism through appearance, attitude, and loyalty
• Self-motivated and able to initiate projects and work independently
• Postive and supportive attitude.

20 hours per week with a combination or weekdays, weeknights, and weekends
