Food Production Worker

A fresh foods solutions company is seeking Full-Time Food Production Workers to join team based out of their Richmond, BC location.

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Available Schedules

1. Monday- Friday, with potential overtime on Sundays. 7:00am-3:30pm.
2. Sunday-Friday (days off will be Saturday and one weekday). 10:00am-6:30pm.
3. Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm.
4. Monday-Friday, 3:30pm-12:00am.

Wage: $18.85/hour (paid on weekly basis)

Types of Duties and Responsibilities

• Lift crates and cases of fruits,
• Able to lift up to 55lbs,
• Dump vegetables onto conveyor belt,
• Perform work in cooler environment,
• Perform heavy lifting as needed,
• Adhere to WorkSafe and food safe guidelines,
• Follow GMP practices,
• Communicate quality issues,
• Work in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Reliable means of transportation to start work on time
• Legal right to work full-time in the given jurisdiction
• Good English speaking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds consistently
• Accountable and dependable
• Open to work in a changing work environment and able to multi-task
• Flexibility in working schedule (Weekend and Holidays as required)
• Experience in food manufacturing procedures is an asset
