About The Role
Billing Representative II - Monday to Friday, Between 6:00AM – 4:30PM Eastern
In an environment where the patient is at the center of everything that we do the individuals in this position typically works with Billing Representatives and other employees handling complex billing issues for the purpose of collecting revenue for the organization. Will work with Patient, Client and/or Third Party insurance bills.
Pay range: $17.20 - $23/ hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

- Focused efforts on decreasing Missing Information.
- Interpret Missing Information requests for appropriate action.
- Contact insurance carriers, clients, patients and/or other outside sources to clarify information.
- Perform screen scrapes.
- Evaluate and respond to all aspects of written billing inquiries from the patient or their representative to resolve billing issues.
- Regular research involving both the web and billing systems.
- May be a certified Medical Coder and/or involved with medical coding.
- Maintain Compliance and HIPAA standards at all times Meet or exceed daily production standards Meet or exceed daily quality standards.
- Ability to work on various other projects as needed.
- Ability to work overtime as needed based on departmental needs.
Required work experience
- Preferred Medical terminology knowledge
- Meet established production and quality standards
- Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications and basic IT troubleshooting.
