What you’ll do

  • Shipment Verification: Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments daily, ensuring accuracy against bills of lading, invoices, and orders to maintain precise records.
  • Material Handling: Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and products to appropriate departments or storage areas, supporting warehouse operations efficiently.
  • Equipment Operation: Load, unload, and move materials manually or using handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, applying safe and effective handling techniques.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain organized inventory by sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or designated bins to ensure easy access and stock accuracy.
  • Shipment Preparation: Prepare shipments by assembling, labeling, and packaging items, completing necessary documentation to facilitate smooth dispatch.
  • Daily Prioritization: Prioritize daily tasks effectively to support team needs and ensure smooth workflow in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize daily tasks effectively.
  • Prior experience in a material handler role, preferably in a heavy industrial setting.
  • Experienced with forklift operation and basic computer skills including MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong teamwork, dependability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • WHMIS, Forklift, and Safety certifications (training available).
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Compensation: Starting pay rate is $22.00 per hour, performance based increase opportunities.
