About The Role
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Software, Automation & Equipment Engineering
- Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and support PLC/HMI and equipment software for manufacturing equipment and automation projects.
- Lead software projects from requirements definition through development, validation, production deployment, and technical handover, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, quality, and performance requirements.
- Develop reliable, maintainable, scalable, and standardized software solutions using software engineering best practices, reusable components, technical documentation, and revision control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and equipment suppliers to define requirements, integrate systems, assess technical risks, and implement effective solutions.
- Review software designs and control logic, provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer, and support complex software and control-system issues when required.
Smart Manufacturing, Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and implement innovative solutions using automation, data analytics, IoT, AI/ML, Computer Vision and digital technologies , including proof-of-concept solutions, equipment data collection, monitoring, dashboards, predictive quality, and smart maintenance applications.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, yield, productivity, cycle time, OEE, equipment availability, downtime, labor efficiency, and operational efficiency .
- Validate results, apply structured problem-solving methods, standardize successful solutions for replication, and scale them across applicable equipment and production lines.
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics/Automation Engineering , or a related technical field.
- Experience at least 3 years in Manufacturing process
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC/HMI programming and manufacturing automation systems.
- Familiarity with automation concepts and control systems
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 concepts 
- Knowledge of HDD Process & Technology, HDD Quality Management, ESD & Contamination
SKILLS
- Proficiency in PLC/HMI  programming.
- Knowledge of Programming C#, C++, Python, AI, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine Learning technologies and web applications.
- Data analysis skills (Excel, basic statistics)
- Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (Speaking/Written)
