About The Role

About GoTyme

GoTyme is a joint venture between the Gokongwei Group, one of the biggest conglomerates in the Philippines, and the Singapore-headquartered digital banking group Tyme. This venture combines the trusted Gokongwei brand, customer base, and distribution ecosystem with Tyme’s globally proven digital banking technology and hands-on experience building South Africa’s leading digital bank, TymeBank, one of the fastest-growing digital banks in the world today.

At GoTyme, we have embarked on a journey to democratize financial services and bring next-level banking to the Philippines. We seek individuals who share our belief that the game is worth changing, to join our growing team of GoTymers as we build, launch, and scale a bank that empowers all Filipinos to navigate a path to financial freedom.

About the role

The Growth Partnerships Lead is responsible in building GoTyme's Growth partnerships portfolio — money-in, aspirational/lifestyle, and everyday spend — largely from scratch, within the pillars and priorities of the Strategic Partnerships team. Most of this portfolio doesn't exist yet: you'll identify who's worth pursuing, build the case, close the deal, and run it. Success is a small number of partnerships that create outsized value for the bank — not the number of partnerships signed.

Origination

  • Identify and prioritize specific partners worth pursuing within your assigned pillars — starting from an open field, screened for value, not availability.
  • Build the commercial case before any relationship exists: mini-P&L, expected repeat-rate, contribution margin.
  • Qualify fast; kill leads that would only produce a logo or a one-off promo with no repeat behavior.

Execution & Relationship Management

  • Negotiate and close agreements, reusing commercial templates rather than starting from zero each time.
  • Own the partner relationship post-signing: manage commitments, monitor performance, run business reviews.
  • Co-build and help execute the go-to-market plan for each partnership with Marketing, and secure budget approval for it from whichever source fits. You bring the customer problem and success metric and stay hands-on through execution — you're accountable for the outcome, not just for handing off a brief.

Systems

  • Work with Product and Lending/Risk to confirm feasibility before commercial commitments are made.
  • Turn each partnership into a reusable playbook so the next one moves faster.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in Business Development, Marketing, Partnerships, or Corporate Development — with a track record of originating from a cold pipeline, not just managing an inherited book. ·
  • Fintech, payments, or retail background is a strong plus.
  • Entrepreneurial — energized by an open mandate, not just running a playbook
  • Judgment to say no to low-value deals
  • Commercial and financial fluency
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management
  • Hands-on experience building and executing go-to-market programs — from a Marketing, Product, or Partnerships background — not just briefing someone else to do it
  • Comfort building repeatable systems, not just relationships
  • Ability to navigate partner’s corporate bureaucracy and chain of command
  • Passion for high performance in a fast-paced, high accountability environment
