The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Process Engineer in this role include

Support manufacturing operations
Develop and implement improved methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality
Implement project or improvement plans for areas of responsibility including but not limited to: efficiency improvements, cost reduction or quality improvement programs, new product support and other process improvements
Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies
Identify systematic problems in either process or equipment related sources and communicating findings to the engineering staff in a continuous manner
Support the manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup, process experiments (SWRs)
Participate in data analysis and problem resolution
Training and Development: Contribute to the growth of our Process Engineering Technicians through ongoing training and development. You will also create tools to improve team efficiency (reports/visualizations) and document new learnings in our disposition specs.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
2+ years of relevant Process or Equipment engineering experience
Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control and process release strategies

Preferred qualifications

Process or Equipment Engineering experience within Wet or CMP modules
Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes: Familiarity with 200mm wafer fabrication, process control, and yield enhancement techniques. Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with process changes, equipment maintenance, and quality events
Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, correlations, and root causes of process variations. Ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements
Problem-solving and troubleshooting: Effective problem-solving skills to identify and resolve process issues and troubleshoot equipment and process problems. Ability to identify and analyze root causes of process variations and quality events
Commitment to quality and safety: Strong commitment to ensuring the highest quality products and maintaining a safe working environment. Ability to maintain accurate records, follow procedures, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Leadership and teamwork: Ability to lead and participate in teams to resolve quality events, implement process improvements, and achieve operational excellence
Communication and collaboration: Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality teams
Proactive and results-driven: Ability to take initiative, drive results, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and techniques, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
