About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can take ownership of both front-end and back-end development, including database work. This role requires someone comfortable building modern user experiences on the client side while also designing and integrating services that connect contemporary applications with legacy backend systems. The ideal candidate is fluent in the programming languages and frameworks used for client-side development and has strong experience with integration patterns, APIs, and technologies that bridge newer platforms with established enterprise systems. You enjoy translating business challenges into practical technical solutions and aren't afraid of complex environments.

Core Responsibilities
- Design, code and architect complex applications and demonstrate a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and system design
- Iterate and maintain a complex application, which consists of both a public facing web site, as well as internal software applications that support and power our team, to create a seamless user experience on both sides
- Collaborate with other software engineers and developers, on the various layers of infrastructure for our applications
- Ensure responsiveness of applications and maintain quality
- Collaborate with all software engineering teams to design, develop and launch new features
- Maintain organization and code integrity
- May be responsible for overseeing consultants work (developers and testers, and System Integrator employees)
- Mentor and develop junior team members with technical proficiency
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
Required Education/Experience
- Master's Degree and a minimum 2 years of relevant full-time work experience or
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 3 years of relevant full-time work experience or
- Associate's Degree and a minimum 4 years of relevant full-time work experience or
- High School Diploma/GED and a minimum 5 years of relevant full-time work experience
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or business-related discipline and a minimum of 3 years full-time work experience in Information Technology or a related field
Relevant Work Experience
- C# ASP.Net and Angular developer experience paired with database experience such as Oracl or SQL Server, required
- Comprehensive understanding of SDLC process in order to move fluidly between coding, team or vendor management, and product ideation, required
- Experience working in an agile team environment, required
- Fluent in writing comprehensive test suites (e.g. unit, snapshot, integration, end-to-end), required
- Experience with complex business logic and system integrations, required
- Ability to build scalable, high-performing, fault-tolerant applications, required
- Strong experience with the Microsoft development family (.NET, SQL Server, Azure DevOps), preferred
- Experience designing a comprehensive Git strategy and leading teams in best practices, preferred
- Experience developing RESTful web services, preferred
- Industry expertise in the utilities/energy sector, preferred

Physical Demands
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to be flexible to work off-hours as required to support deployments and resolve production problems
