This is your chance to be part of a Global Sales Team that ensures Hilton owners and operators receive the combined benefits of scale, access, competence, and experience. As a Senior Director of Sales Strategy , you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being relentlessly motivated to grow market share. On the Hilton Worldwide Sales team reporting to the SVP Global Head of Sales and HRCC, you will lead global sales strategy and planning for Hilton Worldwide Sales.
What you'll do during a typical day
- Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Strategy & Planning team while setting clear priorities, accountabilities, and performance expectations.
- Advise the Global Head of Sales and senior Sales leadership on complex strategic decisions, emerging opportunities, performance risks, organizational implications, and investment priorities.
- Lead B2B strategy, including customer and market assessments, competitive analysis, opportunity sizing, operating model design, sales coverage and deployment, business process redesign, and capability roadmaps.
- Oversee the portfolio of priority strategy and planning initiatives by establishing governance, allocating resources, sequencing work, resolving trade-offs, and ensuring focus remains on the highest-value opportunities.
- Oversee the integrated HWS planning process, translating enterprise priorities into annual and multi-year plans, measurable objectives, initiative roadmaps, milestones, and leadership operating routines.
- Provide strategic leadership for cross-functional initiatives, including project scoping, governance, resourcing, risk management, change strategy, decision-making, and delivery against intended business outcomes.
How you'll collaborate with others
- Partner closely with the Global Head of Sales, HWS leadership team, and global and regional Commercial leaders through regular strategy reviews, business-planning sessions, portfolio discussions, and executive decision forums.
- Collaborate with Finance and Analytics partners to develop business cases, assess commercial opportunities, define success measures, and monitor the benefits delivered by strategic initiatives.
- Work with Sales Operations, Enablement, Technology, Human Resources, Communications, Legal, and regional teams to translate approved strategies into executable plans and support successful organizational adoption.
- Build relationships with internal and external subject-matter experts, customers, industry partners, and advisors to incorporate market insights, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging trends into HWS strategy.
Projects you'll take ownership of
- The HWS enterprise strategy and supporting segment, customer, market, and capability strategies aligned with Hilton's broader commercial priorities and long-term growth objectives.
- The annual and multi-year HWS integrated business plan, including strategic priorities, measurable objectives, initiative roadmaps, milestones, governance routines, and performance indicators.
- The portfolio of strategic initiatives, including prioritization recommendations, resource plans, executive decision materials, governance structures, and progress reporting.
- Executive-level business cases, recommendations, and strategic narratives that frame key choices, evaluate trade-offs, and enable senior leadership decisions.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications
- Ten (10) years of progressive work experience in enterprise strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, commercial strategy, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience of people leadership leading and developing professional teams.
- You are a strategic and commercially minded executive advisor with demonstrated expertise in integrated planning, portfolio management, program governance, financial analysis, executive communications, and leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a global, matrixed organization.
- Travel up to 20%.
It would be useful if you have
- Master's degree (MA, MS, or MBA) is preferred.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, B2B sales, or another complex commercial environment.
- Previous top-tier strategy consulting experience or senior internal strategy leadership experience.
- Knowledge of sales organizations, customer segmentation, go-to-market strategy, coverage models, and sales performance drivers.
- Experience with commercial platforms such as Salesforce, Delphi, or comparable sales and distribution systems.
- Experience supporting a global organization and balancing enterprise consistency with regional and market needs.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Prosci Change Management, or a comparable certification or level of practical experience.

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $160,000 – $210,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
