Overview

General Maintenance Mechanic

Performs general maintenance as directed and as necessary on all aspects of building structure and systems to include floors, walls, ceilings, lighting HVAC, transportation systems, mechanical electrical, plumbing and other items.

Position will be for the Belle Harbour campus in Suffolk, VA

Education

  • High School Diploma/equivalent or Trade School ed)

Certification/Licensure

  • Valid VA or NC Drivers License (Required)
  • Driver record must be in good standing

Experience

  • 1-2 year of general maintenance experience required
  • Must have a general understanding of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Facility Maintenance, General repair to be able to service
  • Or to be able to determine next step in resolution of service issue
  • Previous commercial experience required/healthcare preferred
