About The Role

Inside the Role

The Corporate Compliance and Reporting Analyst supports the North America Compliance program for Daimler Truck Financial Services with a primary focus on compliance program execution, data analytics, systems management, reporting, and process improvement. This role serves as a key resource for strengthening the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of compliance activities through data-driven insights, technology-enabled solutions, and continuous improvement practices.

This position is responsible for supporting core compliance program activities while leading or coordinating initiatives related to compliance reporting, system administration, workflow optimization, and project execution. While the role will partner with Legal and other cross-functional stakeholders as needed, its primary focus is on enabling the Compliance function through analytics, systems support, and operational improvements.

Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.

What You Drive at DTFS

Compliance Program Support

  • Support the execution of core compliance program elements, including risk assessments, monitoring, reporting, training, and investigations
  • Develop and maintain compliance dashboards, reports, and metrics to support program oversight and decision-making
  • Assist with administration and optimization of compliance-related systems (e.g., case management, third-party due diligence tools)
  • Support the vendor due diligence program at Daimler Truck Financial Services
  • Evaluate and address local compliance matters, and escalate higher risk matters to the respective Local Compliance Officer (LCO).
  • Implement and maintain clear compliance standards and applicable processes consistent with the compliance program and Code of Conduct.
  • Continuously assess and improve these standards and processes to ensure they remain effective and efficient.
  • Foster and lead cross-functional collaboration on compliance matters with management and all employees.

Technology & Systems Administration

  • Serve as a key contact for compliance technology tools and platforms
  • Perform system administration activities, including user access management, configuration, and basic troubleshooting
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve system functionality, integration, and automation
  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing management of new tools, including AI-enabled solutions

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources (e.g., hotline, audits, due diligence, training) to identify trends and insights
  • Design and maintain automated reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or equivalent

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Support automation of manual processes and workflows
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making

Professional Development

  • Participate in the internal Compliance Qualification Program, in alignment with the respective LCO.
  • Pursue continuous learning opportunities to stay at the forefront of compliance best practices and emerging trends.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • BS/BA or 6 years of relevant experience in compliance/legal operations in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in compliance or legal operations.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in continuous improvement methods.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Tableau).
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High level of organization and accountability.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence without direct authority.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Experience with compliance or legal technology platforms (e.g., GRC systems, case management tools, due diligence systems)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Legal Studies, or related field
  • Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, or low-code/no-code solutions
  • Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Lean, Kaizen)
  • Experience in a regulated industry or corporate compliance environment
