For more information about Solenis, please visit www.solenis.com Responsible for ensuring customs and global trade compliance across assigned countries and regions. Provides expert guidance on tariff classification, export controls, preferential trade programs, and country of origin. Acts as a key advisor to internal stakeholders and external brokers, delivering practical, compliant solutions and supporting audits, projects, and training initiatives. Key Responsibilities Analyze and resolve complex customs compliance issues; recommend compliant and practical solutions to management and business partners. Perform and validate tariff classification, export control reviews, preferential status checks, and country-of-origin determinations. Respond to compliance inquiries from operational teams, import/export agents, and customs brokers. Participate in global trade compliance projects and provide subject-matter guidance. Conduct and support customs audits, broker oversight, and remediation activities. Analyze data and support recovery claims and other customs compliance programs. Deliver training on Global Trade Compliance (GTC) topics. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred; Trade Management or related qualifications a plus. 3–5+ years of customs/global trade compliance experience in a multinational environment. Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification, and export controls. Experience with customs audits, broker management, and corrective actions. Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP and Global Trade Management systems. Customs-related certifications (e.g., licensed customs broker) are an advantage. Skills Strong influencing, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication (fluent English required; other languages a plus) Solid supply chain and business acumen Strong planning, organization, and adaptability in a global environment Location: Remote European Union (5–10% travel; occasional bank holiday work) Why Join Us?
