About The Role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support precision manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves programming, setup, and operation of CNC and manual equipment to produce high-quality components across a variety of applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Review work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings (including GD&T) to determine machining requirements
- Program, edit, and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines using G-code
- Set up machines, including establishing offsets, tool registers, and reference points
- Perform machining operations such as drilling, tapping, turning, facing, and cutting
- Conduct first-piece inspections and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools
- Identify and resolve machining issues, including making program adjustments as needed
- Operate manual equipment including mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and other shop tools
- Perform routine machine maintenance and manage tooling
- Monitor material levels and assist with inventory tracking and replenishment
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of CNC machining experience
- Proficiency in G-code programming and editing
- Solid understanding of geometry and trigonometry as applied to machining
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with quality processes such as First Article Inspection and PPAP
- Basic knowledge of inventory control practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
- Background in sheet metal manufacturing
- Experience with CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks or similar)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards
- Exposure to process improvement initiatives
- Experience operating manual mills and lathes
Equipment & Tools
CNC vertical machining centers (including models similar to Fadal VMC series)
Manual machining equipment
Precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges
$20 - $30 an hour
