About The Role

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, tools, and equipment used in real estate development projects. The role ensures that inventory is properly managed, materials are available on time for construction activities, and warehouse operations meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  1. Inventory & Stock Management
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and movement using warehouse management systems.
  • Implement and monitor stock control procedures, including periodic stock counts and audits.
  • Ensure timely availability of construction materials, tools, and equipment for various projects.
  1. Warehouse Operations
  • Oversee daily operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
  • Organize warehouse layout to optimize space and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored, and protected against damage or loss.
  1. Coordination with Site Teams
  • Coordinate with procurement and site engineers to plan timely delivery of materials to construction sites.
  • Monitor requisition orders from different project locations and ensure fulfillment.
  • Address site-specific material shortages or surpluses promptly.
  1. Compliance & Safety
  • Enforce safety protocols and housekeeping standards in warehouse areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local laws.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions when needed.
  1. Team Management
  • Supervise warehouse staff, including forklift operators, storekeepers, and helpers.
  • Allocate work duties, conduct performance reviews, and provide necessary training.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  1. Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status, material movement, and warehouse performance.
  • Maintain updated documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Assist finance and audit teams with required data and reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in construction or real estate development.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and tools is an advantage.

Working Conditions

  • This role requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • May require occasional overtime or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
