About The Role
Director of Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director of Talent Acquisition & Onboarding to lead recruiting, onboarding, employment branding, and workforce pipeline initiatives across our growing organization.
This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment while also ensuring a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new hires through their first day of employment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, relationship-focused, and passionate about building strong teams within a behavioral health environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for clinical, residential, medical, administrative, and leadership roles
- Develop recruiting strategies and talent pipelines for hard-to-fill positions
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and positive new hire experience
- Manage employment branding and recruiting-related social media initiatives
- Represent the organization at job fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities
- Build partnerships with colleges, workforce programs, and community organizations to support long-term hiring pipelines
- Manage recruiting vendors including background check providers, job boards, and advertising partners
- Monitor recruitment metrics, hiring trends, and recruiting budgets
- Train and support hiring managers on interview best practices and hiring processes
- Ensure compliance with hiring, credentialing, and onboarding requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services
- Experience leading onboarding and employment branding initiatives preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
