About The Role

Director of Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director of Talent Acquisition & Onboarding to lead recruiting, onboarding, employment branding, and workforce pipeline initiatives across our growing organization.

This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment while also ensuring a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new hires through their first day of employment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, relationship-focused, and passionate about building strong teams within a behavioral health environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for clinical, residential, medical, administrative, and leadership roles
  • Develop recruiting strategies and talent pipelines for hard-to-fill positions
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and positive new hire experience
  • Manage employment branding and recruiting-related social media initiatives
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities
  • Build partnerships with colleges, workforce programs, and community organizations to support long-term hiring pipelines
  • Manage recruiting vendors including background check providers, job boards, and advertising partners
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, hiring trends, and recruiting budgets
  • Train and support hiring managers on interview best practices and hiring processes
  • Ensure compliance with hiring, credentialing, and onboarding requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services
  • Experience leading onboarding and employment branding initiatives preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
