About The Role

We are currently looking for a Cloud Automation Tester to strenghten the Cronos Europa team.

Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source or commercial tools
Integrate automation tests with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments in co-ordination with the DevSecOps team
Test cloud-native applications across various cloud platforms such as AWS & Azure Cloud
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of UI components with backend services
Identify, record, and track bugs to resolution
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and project managers) to identify system requirements.
Monitor debugging process results and provide feedback to development teams.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Proven work experience in software quality assurance with a focus on cloud environments
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Must have ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent
Nice to have professional certifications AWS Certified solutions architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certfied Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Experience with UI testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso or similar
Experience with Postman, Jest, Pytest, Python Requests or similar
Nice to have knowledge of OWASP Zap or similar OWASP testing tool
Nice to have E2E testing with domain specific languages
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure and their SDKs
Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab CI/CD or Azure DevOps
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.

Excellent communication skills in English the technical language of the development teams
The ability to learn new skills and new platforms are also key
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
