  • Average pay: $37/hour
  • Top performers: $52+/hour
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week
  • Full-time | 5 days per week | Weekends required
  • Paid every Friday

Diesel Technician Responsibilities

  • Service and repair all makes of Class 8 semi-trucks and trailers
  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections and document needed repairs accurately
  • Complete repairs efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards
  • Inspect completed work to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Communicate clearly with Service Writers and other technicians
  • Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant workspace
  • Collaborate with a skilled, team-driven shop to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements

  • Verifiable experience working on diesel trucks or heavy-duty equipment (required)
  • Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, brakes, transmissions, and other truck systems
  • Ownership of necessary mechanic tools
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Team-oriented attitude and commitment to quality
  • Desire to continue learning and growing professionally
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and pre-employment & random drug tests
