Delivery Supervisor

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, the Delivery Supervisor is responsible for effectively supervising the delivery process according to the guidelines set out in PEX. The Delivery Supervisor is also responsible for coordinating the assignment of routes and sustaining the delivery effectiveness rate as set by CBL.

Major Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly and weekly delivery schedule
• Schedules Daily route assignments
• Schedules Daily morning meetings
• Liaise s with third- party contractor s to ensure all routes are fully manned each day
• Manages v erification of rejection reasons from logbooks
• Conducts By weekly trade visits
• Conducts Once a week route accompaniment
• Reviews delivery performance with sales team and distribution center manager weekly
• Participates in weekly LCM and WPM
• Validate s the integrity of vehicles used for delivery
• Increment s the delivery effectiveness
• Minimize s the cost of distribution

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job

• Bachelos Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field
• Full knowledge of Excel, formulas and pivot tables
• Great numerical ability
• Knowledge of the Savanna La Mar Area, streets and roads
