Infrastructure Engineer (Data Centre Facilities)

Job Description

We're currently looking for a Data Centre Facilities Engineer to support the smooth and reliable operation of a mission-critical data centre environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring, incident response, and operational checks.
• Accompany vendors during preventive maintenance, installations/un-installations, troubleshooting, and other activities.
• Provide secure access control, coordinate works, and ensure completion according to defined standards and procedures.
• Carry out network cabling adds/changes/removals as required.
• Handle physical installations and removals, ensuring proper connectivity and configuration.
• Respond promptly to network and cabling issues during after-hours time windows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in data centre facilities or mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on experience in servers & network devices installation/un-installation.
• Strong knowledge and capability in troubleshooting network and cabling issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under high-pressure situations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
