Role and Responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on professional to lead Galaxy Store operations for the Mexican and Brazilian market, based in São Paulo, Brazil. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure seamless Galaxy Store operations in Mexico and Brazil: managing campaigns, coordinating with Samsung's Mexico and Brazil subsidiary, and aligning with the Galaxy Store Global Operations team in Suwon, Korea. This role also provides operational support to a peer responsible for strategic coordination and stakeholder management.

The successful candidate is organized, autonomous, and proactive — someone who not only executes but also identifies opportunities and proposes initiatives to grow the Store in Mexico and Brazil. A key aspect of this role is the ability to collaborate closely and effectively with a peer Supervisor, as both roles are designed to complement each other and work as a unit. They will work from the São Paulo office 5 days per week and must be available for occasional calls with Korea outside regular business hours.

Key Job Responsabilities

  • Mexico and Brazil Operations

Manage the monthly content calendar for the Mexican and Brazilian market, including featured apps, banners, and promotional slots. Serve as the main point of contact between LASBO and Samsung's Mexico and Brazil subsidiary for Galaxy Store operations. Align Galaxy Store campaigns with Samsung Mexico and Brazil's local marketing and device sales priorities. Coordinate legal terms and conditions review with Samsung Mexico and Brazil's legal team prior to campaign activation. Execute global and local campaigns end-to-end: backend setup, targeting, monitoring, and post-campaign analysis. Manage the Push Notification calendar for Mexico and Brazil. Coordinate device sales coupon campaigns with Samsung's Mexico and Brazil subsidiary, aligning eligibility criteria, redemption mechanics, and promotional timing. Propose locally relevant campaign ideas tied to Mexican and Brazilian market moments, partner opportunities, or user behavior insights.

  • HQ Alignment (Suwon Office)

Participate in recurring calls with the Galaxy Store Global Operations team in Suwon to report on Mexico and Brazil market performance, flag issues, and negotiate local adaptations to global campaigns. Coordinate first payment promotions and IAP Live Ops initiatives with HQ. Coordinate push notification scheduling for Mexico and Brazil with the Suwon team.

  • Local Marketing Initiatives

Identify and propose marketing activations aligned with Galaxy Store growth objectives for Mexico and Brazil. Coordinate with Samsung Mexico and Brazil's marketing team to embed Galaxy Store into device launches, promotional campaigns, and other local commercial initiatives. Support PR and press release coordination with Samsung's Mexico and Brazil subsidiary when needed.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting

Monitor live campaign performance for Mexico and Brazil, flag anomalies, and compile performance summaries for HQ and internal review. Consolidate performance data from internal systems (Galaxy Store dashboards, MAPS, internal BI tools) into monthly reports with actionable insights. Conduct post-campaign analysis comparing results against KPI targets and share findings with HQ and internal teams.

  • BD Pipeline Support

Support the Business Development team by identifying and qualifying app opportunities for Mexico and Brazil, including acquisition targets not yet in the store and monetization upsell opportunities for existing partners. Support execution of CPI deals and partner-facing promotional initiatives.

  • Content Curation Support

Review and curate app and gaming content for Mexico and Brazil, identifying strong titles aligned with Galaxy Store's curated store strategy. Research and gather market data on trending apps and games for the Mexican and Brazilian market.

  • Internal Reporting

Maintain internal records and prepare status and performance reports for HQ and LASBO management. Validate agency creatives against Samsung brand guidelines.

  • Key Challenges

Managing Mexico and Brazil operations remotely from Brazil requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to build effective relationships with Samsung's Mexico and Brazil subsidiary without regular in-person presence.

Working in a matrix organization means coordinating with a manager in São Paulo, a global team in Korea, and Samsung's Mexico and Brazil subsidiary, each with different priorities and timelines.

Collaborating effectively with a peer Supervisor who owns the strategic layer requires strong communication, mutual trust, and the ability to operate as a unit without formal hierarchy between the two roles.

Balancing recurring operational tasks with ad hoc requests and proactive initiatives, often under tight deadlines and with limited budget flexibility, is a constant challenge in this role.

Supporting Galaxy Store's transition to a curated store model requires growing knowledge of the app and gaming ecosystem in Mexico, Brazil and LATAM.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience: Marketing operations, digital campaigns, or app store management. Hands-on experience with campaign setup, performance tracking, and reporting is required. Experience with mobile app ecosystems (Google Play, Apple App Store, or Galaxy Store) is strongly preferred. Knowledge of the Mexican digital market, including gaming, apps, and digital content, is highly desirable.
  • Languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish in advanced level of proficiency.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable with hands-on operational tasks including backend campaign setup, creative validation, legal coordination, and performance tracking. Analytical mindset with ability to consolidate and synthesize data from multiple sources. Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities and propose initiatives independently. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work as a unit with a peer of equivalent seniority. Effective communicator across cultures and time zones. Able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing accuracy.
  • What This Role Is Not

This is not a business development, partnerships, or strategy leadership role. The primary focus is operational excellence for the Mexican market, with secondary support to Brazil. This role is designed to work in close partnership with a peer Specialist who owns the strategic and stakeholder management layer. Success in this role depends as much on the quality of that collaboration as on individual execution. Candidates who prefer to work independently or who are seeking a predominantly strategic or client-facing role may find this position different from their expectations.

  • Success Metrics (H2 2026)

Mexico and Brazil Campaign Execution

Plan and execute strategic Galaxy Store campaigns for the Mexican and Brazilian market, covering key customer and partner segments, including high-value user retention, new paying user acquisition, co-marketing with Samsung's Mexico and Brazil subsidiary, and partner-led activations.

  • Monthly Market Intelligence

Deliver monthly reports consolidating Galaxy Store performance data for Mexico and Brazil, with actionable recommendations for store growth.

  • BD Pipeline Support

Identify and qualify app opportunities for Mexico and Brazil, including new acquisition targets and monetization upsell opportunities for existing partners.

  • Peer Collaboration

Demonstrate consistent and effective collaboration with the peer Supervisor responsible for strategic coordination, ensuring seamless co-execution across both markets. This includes proactive communication, shared planning, and mutual support in delivering team-level results.
