About The Role

The Utility Software Product Manager owns the offering management of Honeywell Forge cloud-hosted applications for utilities in the European market. This role defines what we build to support utility workflows across multiple departments, with an initial focus on water and gas utilities. The Product Manager will responsible for ensuring our product investments produce measurable value in utility operations and deliver business outcomes for Honeywell Technologies.

Key responsibilities

  • Product strategy and roadmap. Define product requirements, specifications, and roadmap for applications in the Forge Utility Software portfolio. Maintain alignment with the broader Forge platform architecture.
  • AI and Agentic AI roadmap. Own the development of AI use cases for specified utility market opportunities and translate AI capability into utility-relevant outcomes.
  • Customer and market discovery. Work with Solution Architects, Sales, and customers to identify the highest-value use cases. Conduct VOC and competitive analysis, especially against MDM, SCADA, and utility analytics providers.
  • Engineering partnership. Set product requirements and feed development priorities into the engineering / R&D organization.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Cloud Software Expertise : Proven experience in managing cloud-native B2B software products, with knowledge of SaaS models and cloud architecture considerations.
  • Utility Domain Knowledge : Familiarity with water and gas utility sectors, including analytics, MDM, GIS/CIS integration, or SCADA use cases, and can engage with utility analysts and operations staff.
  • Market-Driven Approach : History of developing product roadmaps based on customer research, voice of the customer (VOC), and competitive analysis rather than internal ideation.
  • AI/ML Proficiency : Working knowledge of scoping, evaluating, and delivering AI features within a B2B context.
  • Additional Desired Experience : Experience with utility data integration platforms and defining commercial models for AI features.
  • Experience Requirement : Minimum of 8 years in the relevant field as an individual contributor, with no direct reports needed initially.
