About The Role
In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of the supply chain by maintaining accurate inventory levels, timely material delivery, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse and production areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and supplies to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move materials within the facility.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to support operational goals and resolve material-related issues.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in material handling within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and material storage best practices.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software for inventory tracking and documentation.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
WE VALUE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning devices and data entry.
