MMIS/MES Account & Delivery Leader
MEDICAID ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS | GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE | ACCOUNT & DELIVERY LEADERSHIP
Conduent is seeking an experienced MMIS/MES Account & Delivery Leader to lead the successful delivery, management, and growth of our New Mexico Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES/MMIS) engagement.
This role serves as the primary client-facing leader responsible for operational performance , contract compliance , financial results , strategic client relationships , and account growth .
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary executive point of contact for client leadership and key stakeholders, building trusted advisor relationships.
- Lead daily delivery and operational performance across the Medicaid Enterprise Systems program.
- Ensure contractual commitments, service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs); regulatory requirements, security standards, and business objectives are met.
- Partner with operations, technology, product, system, and support teams to deliver contracted services and address performance risks.
- Manage client escalations, operational issues, service interruptions, corrective action plans, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Lead contract administration, including renewals, amendments, change requests, pricing discussions, and governance processes.
- Oversee quality assurance, continuous improvement, SLA reporting, SOC audits, Medicaid Waiver Financial Management reviews, and other compliance assessments.
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, training, and documentation.
- Own account financial performance, including budgets, revenue, profitability, forecasting, expense management, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present executive business reviews, strategic performance reports, and operational governance updates.
- Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams while managing hiring, onboarding, performance, development, succession planning, employee relations, engagement, and retention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive leadership experience in Account Management, Delivery Management, Operations Management, Government Healthcare, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in Medicaid, MMIS, Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), Fiscal Agent operations, or related government healthcare programs.
- Experience managing large-scale government contracts and operational service delivery organizations.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, compliance programs, service level agreements, and operational governance.
- Proven ability to build executive-level client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across operations, technology, product, and service delivery organizations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, revenue, profitability, forecasting, and business performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) or Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) implementations and operations.
- Direct Fiscal Agent operational experience.
- Experience leading SOC audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory assessments.
- Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), governance processes, and operational controls.
- Experience with large-scale system modernization, implementation, and transformation programs.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $92,901-$120,650.
