Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a DFX & Process Development Senior Manager located in Prai, Penang .

Responsible for managing a team of DFX engineers to ensure that cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

Provide technical leadership on new technology development, qualification, and deployment into operations to deliver best-in-class manufacturing and technology solutions across the cluster.

What a typical day looks like

  • Provide technical direction to Hardware and Software Engineering & Design teams.
  • Oversee resource budgeting, allocation, review, and approval.
  • Track projects and progress through regular reviews.
  • Develop control systems and reports which accurately measure progress, identify potential technical problems, and implement timely corrective actions to ensure that commitments are met.
  • Participate in product architecture and feasibility technical reviews.
  • Aid and guide in the development of product designs from proposal to delivery.
  • Provide technical support to customers and the Sales team.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

  • Typically requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training in the EMS industry.
  • Typically requires 9 years of engineering experience, including supervision, in the EMS industry.
  • Experience in managing a DFX engineering team is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrates strong capability, technical knowledge, and experience in multiple areas of PCBA manufacturing and DFX in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.
  • Demonstrates functional, technical, people, and manufacturing management skills, as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries, or functions, and an understanding of the interdependencies of such processes at the site.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
