Job Responsibilities
- Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and commission SPSG equipment at customer locations.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation system issues.
- Provide customer training and technical support related to SPSG equipment.
- Support equipment demonstrations, product trials, and new installations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and other internal teams to support customer projects.
- Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and expense records.
- Travel as required to customer and SPSG locations throughout North America and internationally.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Skills / Experience / Education Requirements
- Associate degree in a related technical or engineering field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Successful completion of Level II advancement requirements or equivalent approved experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Field Service Technician experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience servicing SPSG equipment or similar automated machinery.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation controls, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Overnight travel up to 75%, with additional travel as business needs require.
- Availability for short-notice travel, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Work in manufacturing, warehouse, and customer production environments.
- Ability to work safely around automated equipment and in varying hot, cold, or noisy conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
The hourly base salary range for this position is $38-$48/hour . If you are hired, your hourly base pay will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role.
