About The Role

BladeAssure Engineering Leader is a technical leadership role responsible for the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of BladeAssure Technologies across TPI’s manufacturing footprint. An experienced technical leader and problem solver, this role serves as the escalation point for complex BladeAssure system issues, drives their resolution, and leads standardization, training, and implementation of the technologies found in the BladeAssure program. This role also mentors site-level engineering and production teams to build BladeAssure expertise and technical bandwidth across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the sustained performance of the BladeAssure system within their site and supports other BladeAssure Leaders within other TPI’s manufacturing sites, driving consistent, reliable operation and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point and technical authority for complex or unresolved BladeAssure issues, leading root cause investigation and corrective action to closure.
  • Drive adherence to standardized BladeAssure-related documentation (work instructions, quality documentation, PFMEA, inspection instructions, etc.) and support revision and improvement of these documents.
  • Serve as the recognized BladeAssure subject matter expert, providing technical mentorship and building BladeAssure competency within site engineering and production teams.
  • Lead training, knowledge transfer, and hand-off of BladeAssure processes to site engineering and production teams, growing internal technical bandwidth.
  • Lead trials, prototyping, and evaluation of new technologies and features under the BladeAssure program, partnering with technology development teams.
  • Drive standardization of BladeAssure processes and best practices, partnering with other BladeAssure Engineering leaders as well as the local Engineering, Quality, Production, and other related departments.
  • Partner with other BladeAssure Engineering leaders driving collaboration, problem solving and standardizaiton.
  • Identify, engage, and coordinate subject matter experts across the organization to resolve complex system issues, and track progress towards resolution.
  • Partner with site and functional leadership to communicate system performance, operating status, and resolution plans, and provide technical input to strategic decisions.
  • Support the technical aspects of new product introduction, program launches, and continuous improvement initiatives involving BladeAssure technologies.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Education/ Skills/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a lead engineering role supporting automation/process technologies.
  • Recognized technical leader in mechanical automation equipment, robotics, design of electromechanical/pneumatic systems, and motion controls.
  • Solid engineering background with hands-on experience and high mechanical aptitude, with a demonstrated ability to mentor others and translate expertise into technical leadership.
  • Deep understanding of the nuances of autonomous system requirements, algorithms, and operating environments, with the ability to guide others through complex, ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the integration of equipment design into existing or new systems, including across sites or functions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to set and communicate priorities, create a clear vision and goals, and drive alignment and accountability across teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels, including the ability to influence senior leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of firmware, safety controllers, and track programming.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities across sites with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule.

Ability to customize system configurations, including PLC programming and CMMS adjustments, to meet specific operational requirements, and proven experience deploying and supporting CbM, CMMS, or PLC systems in industrial environments – Preferred.
