About the role

The Marcus Marketing team is seeking a strategic and data-driven Vice President to lead the Marcus Open Site strategy and digital experience function. This leader will define and execute the vision, roadmap, and governance model for Marcus's public digital experience, driving customer acquisition, conversion optimization, site modernization, and marketing technology innovation. The Vice President will partner across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to deliver customer-centric experiences, scalable digital capabilities, and measurable business outcomes while ensuring regulatory excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Strategy and Management:
  • Own the Marcus Open Site roadmap, prioritization, and enhancement strategy
  • Work with Marketing channel owners to deliver cohesive end-to-end digital experiences for customers
  • Maintain close partnership with Legal, Compliance, Privacy and Risk teams to ensure site activities meet regulatory requirements
  • Align business stakeholders on priorities, risks, and strategic direction of site
  • Maintain site roadmap, push engineering for site enhancements
  • Drive SEO/GEO initiatives
  • Oversee website team and manage relationship with content team
  • Digital Product and Engineering Partnership
  • Serve as Marketing's primary partner to Product and Engineering teams on site capabilities, platform investments, and digital enhancements
  • Influence prioritization of engineering roadmaps to deliver customer value and marketing objectives
  • Translate business requirements into open site solutions and customer facing enhancements
  • Drive execution of modernization initiatives and platform improvements
  • Experimentation, Analytics and Optimization
  • Drive A/B testing strategy and prioritization
  • Partner with Analytics teams to develop measurement frameworks, incrementality methodologies, attribution models, and customer journey insights
  • Use behavioral, campaign, and site performance data to influence product and marketing decisions
  • Lead evaluation of analytics platform strategy and future-state measurement capabilities
  • Site Transformation Initiatives
  • Represent Marketing and open site experience workstreams in large-scale transformation programs
  • Develop migration strategies, customer journey requirements, communication plans, and stakeholder alignment across business and technology teams
  • Manage dependencies, risks, governance reviews, and executive communications

Basic Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, website strategy, digital product management, marketing technology, customer experience, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience leading strategy and optimization for large-scale customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Design organizations.
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics, experimentation, conversion optimization, customer journey analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Experience defining business requirements and translating customer and business needs into scalable digital solutions.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and technology platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of using data to drive strategic decisions and measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience operating within governance, risk, compliance, or regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience owning or leading public-facing websites, digital experiences, or acquisition-focused digital channels.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering organizations on roadmap development, prioritization, and platform modernization efforts.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics, experimentation, personalization, content management, and customer experience platforms.
  • Experience leading digital transformation, migration, or modernization programs.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, content strategy, and emerging search technologies.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing marketing technology solutions and digital capabilities.
  • Experience leading teams and developing talent within a matrixed organization.

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $115000-$270000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
