The Clare is recruiting for a hospitality focused Quality Assurance and Admissions Nursing Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for overseeing the admissions process, conducting initial assessments, and ensuring that documentation and clinical practices meet all federal, state, and facility standards. The role also includes ongoing quality assurance monitoring and participation in performance improvement initiatives to maintain excellence in care delivery.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Nurse Manager
- Manage the intake and admission of new residents.
- Work closely with the DON and ADON to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff support.
- Collaborate with hospital discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and families to ensure seamless transitions.
- Conduct regular audits of resident charts to monitor documentation quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all admission paperwork, care plans, and assessments are completed accurately and timely in accordance with Medicare and state regulations.
- Provide daily supervision to assigned staff and directly provide nursing care to residents as assigned.
- Participate in facility Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings and initiatives.
- Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have
- Registered nursing license in the State of Illinois
- Minimum on (1) year experience in long term care setting preferred
- Supervisory experience
