Tech Financial Planning Analyst

About The Role
Support Tech financial planning
- Budgeting and performing expense analysis for the Tech department.
- Financial reporting for the Tech department.
Expense Management
Tracking and analyzing all company expenses, ensuring they are within budgetary limits, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. ▪ Budgeting: Collaborating with various departments to create and manage budgets, forecasting future financial needs, and monitoring budget adherence.
- Invoice Processing: Verifying and processing invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy, and making timely payments to suppliers.
- Purchase Order Management: Managing purchase orders, including reviewing and approving purchase requests from other departments.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis, such as variance analysis, to assess financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
- Reporting: Preparing regular financial reports and statements for management, highlighting key financial metrics, and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, including tax regulations and procurement guidelines.
- Data Analysis: Utilizing financial software and tools to analyze data and trends, helping the company make informed financial decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Requirements
- Coordinate with all HOFs to develop annual budgets for BAU activities.
- Provide meaningful analysis of actual vs. budgeted financial results Team
- Staff will be reporting under the Tech Finance Management Team Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or other Financial related roles
- Sound understanding of financial terms and concepts
- Must be comfortable with numbers and proficient in handling large datasets
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting)
- Proficiency in Power BI will be a plus.
- Independent but also able to work as part of a larger team
- "Hands on" proactive and self-driven attitude is required, who enjoys challenges and thrives in a fast changing and demanding environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills, with ability to interact with senior management.
- Degree / Diploma in Business or Accounting (preferred) Key Stakeholders
