CST - Surgical Technologist (Day Shift) - Miller Hill Surgery Center

Essentia Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to serve in ambulatory surgery at our Miller Hill Surgery Center in Duluth, Minnesota. This CST works 32 hours weekly on day shift. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. Schedule is generally 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off. Actual start and end times will vary. Relocation assistance is available for this position.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.

What You'll Do

Functions under the supervision of an RN in providing technical interventions in the Operating Room to patients of all ages. They are also responsible for tasks relating to instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies. May perform other duties as assigned by the department.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
