About The Role

Position Overview

My client is seeking a highly execution-oriented and systems-driven management professional to join the founding team in Singapore. This role will take ownership of overall office operations and play a critical part in executing financial services business activities, including fund management, foreign exchange, and asset management operations. As a key bridge between front-end business development, back-end operations, compliance, and strategic clients, this position serves as a central pillar in scaling and professionalizing the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Office & Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the Singapore office and establish efficient internal processes and governance structures.
  • Ensure seamless coordination across business, operations, compliance, and support functions.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous process optimization.

Team & Project Leadership

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams with clear accountability, KPIs, and delivery standards.
  • Allocate resources strategically and oversee execution of key projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Foster a performance-driven and collaborative culture.

Back Office & Channel Coordination

  • Liaise with internal and external back-office teams, custodians, service providers, and distribution channels.
  • Ensure stability, compliance, and professionalism in service delivery.
  • Optimize workflow efficiency and enhance overall client experience.

Client Relationship Management

  • Participate in managing and maintaining key institutional and high-value client relationships.
  • Serve as a strategic communication interface between clients and internal teams.
  • Support the Founder in building long-term partnerships and trust with core stakeholders.

Strategic Collaboration with Founder

  • Maintain high-frequency and high-quality communication with the Founder to translate strategy into actionable execution plans.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment and support milestone achievement.
  • Act as a trusted execution partner in scaling the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; background in Finance, Business, Management, or related disciplines preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience; prior experience in fund management, asset management, foreign exchange, or financial services is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and project management, with the ability to handle multi-tasking and complex cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, capable of clear and professional communication.
  • Energetic yet mature, pragmatic, and highly results-oriented.
  • Direct and efficient communication style with strong ownership and execution capability.
