About The Role

Procedural Scheduler in our Surgical Services Department at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

The Surgical Services Scheduling Specialist employs intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills to schedule procedures for the OR, Endoscopy and/or North Coast Surgery Center/Pain Clinic (NCSC), records and submits statistical data, maintains OR log documentation, provides statistical, logging and charge entry duties utilizing a computerized program for the Surgery Department.

Required Qualifications

Coursework/Training: Documented completion of Medical Terminology Course.
Experience in the health care setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data entry functions.
