About The Role

Adults Brokerage Officer - Salary - Grade 5- £35,520 - £38,739 pa subject to final confirmation

If successful in your application for the role of Brokerage Officer, London Borough of Havering, you will/will be

  • Work across Adults Brokerage team leading on brokering placement/services and the delivery of the personalisation agenda.
  • Deliver the work priorities across the Adults Brokerage service as identified within your work plan, sharing your knowledge with the wider team by providing training and support pertinent to your knowledge/experience.
  • Manage and maintain professional working relationships through positive approaches that deliver desired outcomes, ensuring a strong and developed knowledge of the market, using resources effectively to get the best value and quality for placements/services.
  • Manage and maintain strong links with operational teams, commissioners and the Quality Team, ensuring communication is clear and timely, with all necessary protocols and procedures being followed in placing individuals and in delivering the personalisation agenda.
  • Input data into necessary systems, ensuring it is accurate, up to date and that records are always maintained in relation to placement/services and personalisation activity with contractual arrangements being clear, up to date, robust and accessible.
  • Input to the design of a market that can respond to demand for placements/services and the personalisation agenda. Where capacity is an issue, raise with the Senior Brokerage Officers.
