About The Role

In this role, you will partner with customers to understand their technical challenges, recommend innovative software and hardware solutions, and help drive successful outcomes using NI test and measurement technologies. Working collaboratively with account managers, customers, and internal technical teams, you will contribute to technical strategy development, customer success, and business growth while delivering value through innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Building key technical relationships at top accounts, demonstrating strong technical credibility and increasing customer technical confidence in NI solutions.
  • Understanding and assisting in the creation of customer technical requirements.
  • Providing recommendations on software and hardware architectures while helping customers understand the next steps to ensure success.
  • Collaborating with NI Account Manager(s) as part of an account team to lead development and execution of the account technical strategy, providing insight to the overall account strategy and pipeline.
  • Coordinating with and informing internal technical stakeholders to execute account technical initiatives and provide feedback to increase account success.
  • Leveraging industry, application area, and account knowledge to uncover and influence customer future technical needs and challenges, generating further technical demand for NI products, services, and support.
  • Building trusted customer relationships through technical consultation and solution-focused engagement.
  • Contributing to a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.

This position is compensated by 80% base salary and 20% variable pay based on achievement of annual quota attainment.

For This Role, You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
  • Experience applying engineering, test, measurement, automation, or software development principles in a professional environment.
  • Programming experience supporting technical solutions, applications, or systems development.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to support customer and business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to delivering customer-focused solutions while working collaboratively across functions.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

  • Degree concentration in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience with NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and NI PXI platform, including developer certifications.
  • English language competency with effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skill in at least one of the following programming languages: LabVIEW, .NET, Python, C++, or C#.
  • Advanced skill in FPGA development using VHDL or LabVIEW FPGA.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience contributing to organizational, account, or engagement strategies.
  • Ability to integrate business, operational, and interpersonal considerations into technical engagements.
  • Experience supporting automated test, validation, instrumentation, or measurement applications.
