The individual will join our Centrotherm Warehouse Team reporting to our Warehouse Supervisor. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing shipments and receipt of outgoing and incoming material, parts, and products.

Job Duties

Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies

Handle all aspects of receiving, storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers.

Maintain records for all inbound receipts per documented processes as well as non-conforming product, purchase order, or damaged shipments.

Manage all important documents such as travelers, bills of lading, etc.

Assist in shipping and receiving unloading trucks and receiving the merchandise

Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude

Review accuracy of colleagues' order picks

Assist packing and preparing orders for shipment

Execute quality procedures as documented by the quality department. Impart quality into every part manufactured and packed

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards

Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory

Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times following principles of 5S

Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as assigned

Requirements

Experience and Required Skills

  • A High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred (Sit down and/ or stand up)
  • Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills

Dependable and Reliable

  • Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills may be required
  • Ability to input data into computer
  • Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience preferred
  • Previous experience as team lead preferred
  • Work overtime as assigned.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard or other office equipment.

Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.

Required to wear Safety Glasses & Steel/Composite toe shoes while in Warehouse or Manufacturing Areas
