About The Role

As a Collections | FOS CCE, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire collections process, from initial contact to resolution. Your primary goal is to recover outstanding payments while maintaining a positive customer experience. You will collaborate with various teams to develop effective strategies and ensure a smooth collections process.

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
  • Initiate and maintain regular communication with customers to discuss payment plans and resolve any issues.
  • Negotiate and agree on payment terms, ensuring a fair and reasonable approach.
  • Monitor and analyze customer payment patterns to identify potential risks and take proactive measures.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to initiate legal proceedings when necessary, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on collections progress and performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in collections and customer service.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a collections or customer service role, preferably in a financial services environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using collections software and tools, as well as MS Office applications.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of accounts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
