About the team

Our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team partners with colleagues across the business to proactively manage risk while supporting Worldpay’s sustainable growth. As a diverse and dynamic group, we have the ability to make a meaningful difference both within our organization and for our clients around the globe.

What you will be doing

As the Risk Specialist for our LATAM region, you will be the primary point of contact for all Enterprise Risk matters, representing Worldpay’s ERM team locally. Your expertise will be crucial in embedding risk accountability into business operations and supporting strategic objectives, ensuring they are achieved in a responsible and sustainable way. You’ll lead key initiatives, work closely with stakeholders across our LATAM entities and globally, playing a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating risk.

Significant activities include

  • Partner with key stakeholders to address complex, region-specific issues, balancing risk and reward in decision-making.
  • Communicate professionally with executive and senior leaders, providing clear insights and recommendations.
  • Apply sound judgement in assessing potential risks, operating within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Monitor and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders, serving as a trusted escalation point.
  • Present risk assessment results to LATAM Boards and other key governance forums.

What you bring

  • Proven experience with risk management practices, including risk and controls evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of local risk management requirements across LATAM jurisdictions.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and accountability.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities aligned with business objectives.

Added bonus if you have

  • Knowledge of merchant acquiring services.
  • Experience preparing and delivering executive-level reports.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory risk management requirements.
