About The Role

Job Summary: To provide support to Technical Superintendents for smooth and efficient monitoring of Shippalm and proactively advise them on any items falling overdue. To rectify issues raised by TSIs on a daily basis. To assist vessels with any discrepancies in Shippalm reports. Key Result Areas: 1. Attending to Shippalm ship shore application issues and resolving them with in time frame 2. Keep the vessel Shippalm status up to date (Jobs, defects, noon reports etc). 3. Shippalm data upload like Lube report, noon report, VIR, Vessel Particulars etc 4. Train New Fleet TSI on basics of Shippalm 5. Timely support to vessel for Shippalm application guidance. 6. Audit time work (maintaining the defect reports, certificate, lube oil report, PMS jobs, Critical Spares in Shippalm . Critical Tasks: 1. Check the Communication Status of ship and shore in ShipPalm 2. Liaise with the vessel to make sure the Corrective action of the defects is completed within the target date. 3. Weekly PMS status/Defect reports status are circulated to all the respective TSI’s and Fleet Manager. 4. Coordinate with backend team and make them to fix the issue which are beyond my limit 5. Assist & resolve the issues through the Remote, mail & mobile whenever needed 6. Familiarization of Shippalm to respective Superintendents (TSI & MSI), Operations/Purchase executives 7. While taking over the vessels, Critical Equipment’s /Spares collected from the vessel & provide to the PMS- team and get those details updated in Shippalm application. Once done the hard copies are filed for the documentation purpose (with Fleet Manager/Superintendents signature) 8. Attend the meeting to discuss about the bugs/errors with AO team and avoid the recurring issues in the application 9.Coordinate with the Technical Superintends and Fleet Managers to check/close their daily task in Shippalm 10. For new take over vessels, collecting minimum spares/critical component list from the vessels and get it updated in shippalm with the help of team, Take print out of the final list & get signature from TSI & TM and filed it for audit.
