About The Role

Junior Officer – Accounts Department: Finance & Accounts Industry: Pharmaceutical Experience: 0–1 Year / Freshers Employment Type: Full-Time Qualification: <B.Com> / <M.Com> / BBA (Finance) or equivalent Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Officer – Accounts to support the Finance & Accounts team in day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate will assist with accounting entries, vendor/customer reconciliations, payments, bank reconciliation, statutory compliance documentation, and MIS reporting. This position is suitable for freshers who want to build a career in Finance & Accounts within the pharmaceutical industry . Key Responsibilities Pass and maintain daily accounting entries for sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal transactions. Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities. Verify vendor invoices, supporting documents, purchase orders, and approvals. Assist with vendor payments and maintain payment-related records. Perform bank reconciliation and investigate discrepancies. Maintain vendor and customer ledger reconciliation. Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related documentation. Support preparation of monthly MIS reports and financial statements. Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents. Assist during internal and statutory audits by providing required documents and information. Support inventory, purchase, expense, and other accounting-related reconciliations. Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Sales, HR, and other departments for accounting requirements. Enter and maintain financial data accurately in Tally / SAP / ERP systems . Follow company accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls. Perform other Finance & Accounts activities assigned by the reporting manager. Required Skills Basic understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, ledgers, debit/credit concepts . Basic knowledge of GST and TDS . Working knowledge of MS Excel . Knowledge of Tally / SAP / ERP is an advantage. Good numerical and analytical ability. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn pharmaceutical-industry accounting processes. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Eligibility <B.Com> / <M.Com> / BBA Finance or equivalent qualification. Freshers are encouraged to apply. Internship or academic exposure to accounting software is an added advantage. Pharma/healthcare industry exposure is beneficial but not mandatory for freshers .
