About the Role Blibli is accelerating its transformation into a data-driven digital ecosystem where analytics, machine learning, and technology play a critical role in driving business growth. As part of this journey, the Data Science team empowers decision-making through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-powered solutions across key business domains. The Data Scientist is responsible for identifying business opportunities, translating complex problems into analytical solutions, and developing machine learning models that create measurable business impact. This role works closely with Product, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Technology teams to deliver data-driven insights and scalable solutions across areas such as revenue optimization, personalization, pricing, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, enabling them to not only build models but also understand the reasoning behind business decisions and drive tangible outcomes. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain machine learning models to solve business problems across Revenue Intelligence, Supply Chain, and Personalization. Analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights to support business growth. Build predictive models for pricing optimization, recommendation systems, advertising optimization, and revenue uplift initiatives. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven solutions. Work closely with Data Engineers and ML Engineers to support model deployment and automation. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science ( preferred ), Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative fields. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL . Experience building machine learning models end-to-end. Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Preferred background from e-commerce, marketplace, technology, or digital companies.
