About Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
About the Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a skilled Preliminary Investigator to join our Investigations team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are
- Accurately document all incidents and events in complete security incident reports.
- Identify and use all relevant forms and documents during preliminary investigations.
- Utilize the Mission Control system to enter, update, and manage incident reports and related files.
- Proofread and prepare incident reports for Security management approval.
- Identify all affected people and witnesses, collecting statements and contact information.
- Determine when incident reports are required based on liability, criminal acts, or safety issues.
- Conduct minor investigations, including safety violations and requesting video footage.
- Follow proper procedures for handling incidents, including obtaining photos and notifying management.
- Document and address hazardous conditions contributing to incidents.
- Collect, secure, and log evidence, ensuring proper chain of custody.
- Assist outside agencies such as police and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Collaborate with other investigative departments to share details and information.
- Assess guest or employee conditions and provide emergency medical assistance if necessary.
- Offer follow-up and contact information to affected guests and employees.
- Maintain open communication with shift and department management about incidents.
- Support supervisors, managers, and other departments with incident notifications and assistance.
- Perform Security Officer duties, including escorts and guest or employee assistance.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and private information.
- Complete all assignments from Security shift management and directors.
- Remain calm and rational in high-stress situations.
- Contribute to departmental accuracy, confidentiality, and thorough record-keeping.
- Deliver high-quality property-wide service and guest satisfaction.
- Support company-wide communication and the sharing of best practices.
- Assist in training team members as needed.
- Stay informed of departmental updates and new developments.
- Manage internal and external guest relations with patience and diplomacy.
- Generate written reports on security-related incidents involving guests, staff, or property.
- Collect and log evidence, maintaining proper chain of custody.
- Assist with scene management during initial responses to security incidents.
- Submit all security reports promptly and on time.
- Become familiar with hazardous materials and related regulations on property.
- Pursue ongoing education and training to remain knowledgeable in the industry.
- Work with guest claims and risk management to minimize company liability while upholding service standards.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
About You
- Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Required: 21 Years of Age (Minimum)
- Required: Minimum 3 years’ guest service experience.
- Preferred: Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Strong leadership, effective management and good communication skills.
- Self-starter possessing strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be confident interacting with executive leaders.
- Strong program and project management skills.
- Detailed oriented and ability to deliver quality products on schedule.
- Strong presenter and public speaker.
- High proficiency with Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and database programs.
- Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demand.
