About The Role

Are you an experienced Facilities Attendant, Groundskeeper or Maintenance Assistant looking for your next opportunity in remote hospitality and accommodation services?

Civeo is building a talent pipeline for future Facilities Attendant opportunities across our villages in regional New South Wales. This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) talent pool designed to connect us with candidates interested in future vacancies as they become available.

Opportunities may arise at our Narrabri and Boggabri villages.

Please note: This is a talent pipeline advertisement and not for a specific current vacancy. Suitable applicants may be contacted regarding future opportunities that match their skills and experience. This pipeline will remain open for approximately three months, after which it will close and a new pipeline will be advertised. Candidates not progressed during the current campaign will be welcome to reapply to future pipeline advertisements.

About the Role

Our Facilities teams play an important role in maintaining safe, functional and welcoming environments for guests, clients and colleagues. As a Facilities Attendant, you'll support the day-to-day upkeep of village grounds, facilities and buildings while ensuring a high standard of presentation across site.

Depending on business requirements, opportunities may include a variety of roster patterns and employment arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance of site grounds, facilities and buildings
  • Carry out gardening, landscaping and grounds maintenance duties
  • Collect, maintain and manage waste throughout the village
  • Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, whipper snippers and blowers
  • Ensure workshops, storage areas, tools and vehicles are maintained in a tidy and safe condition
  • Process maintenance requests through the property maintenance management system
  • Follow all health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards and improvement opportunities
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service to guests, clients and colleagues
  • Assist with other facilities-related duties as required

About You

We'd love to hear from candidates who have

  • Previous experience in a maintenance, trades assistant, groundskeeping or facilities role
  • Current Manual Driver's Licence (Class C)
  • Forklift Licence highly regarded
  • Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in varying weather conditions
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance management systems
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
